The Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) provides long term funding to community coalitions to deliver programs
that address the health and development of children (0 - 6 years) who are living in conditions of risk. It recognizes that communities
have the ability to identfy and respond to the needs of children and places a strong emphasis to partnerships and
community capacity building.

The Parenting Journey is a home visiting program designed to deliver supports to families with children 3-16 years that are experiencing challenges. This is currently a demonstration project. Information gathered during this period will be used to build stronger and more meaningful programs for families.
Early Learning and Language provides language development training for those working in the world of Early Childhood Development. The
program uses the well known Hanen training, Learning Language and Loving It and Teacher Talk. Programs that increase
language development awareness, such as You Make the Difference, are offered to parents and caregivers.
Parent Support and Education - numerous parent support and education programs are offered throughout the
three counties. Family focused outreach programs are offered through this funding.
